The Process
Generation Green provides educational materials to schools for teachers to implement in the classroom. The welcome box includes a master copy booklet of all the activities planned as well as a calendar.

Teachers and parents will have access to a website portal where they can track their students progress and download resources as well. This is meant to be an inclusive program for the whole family. As students progress through the grade levels, the level of difficulty and understanding for each activity increases with them.

A point based system will be implemented and awarded to students, classroom and schools as the program grows. Awards will be given out that further sustainability initiatives.
Why Does This Matter?
As people grow older, the need for convenience is driven by habits that have been formed over the years. Our solution looks to help kids form sustainable habits early on so that recycling is no longer seen as an inconvenience to their daily lives. Kids will be able to form these habits early on in their lives as they are developing, and will be able to perform these sustainable habits without having to think much about to do or have to reference a secondary source.
